আল্লাহ পাক তাঁর কোরআন পাকে ঘোষনা করেছেন-
فَوَيْلُ لِّلْمُصَلِّيْنَ الَّذِيْنَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَوتِهِمْ سَا هُوْنَ
উচ্চারন: ফাওয়াইলুলি্লল মুছালি্লনাল্লাজিনাহুম আনছালাতিহিম ছাহুন।
হযরত ইবনে আব্বাস (রাঃ) বর্ণনা করেছেন -জাহান্নাম নামক দোযখে বিরাট একটি গর্ত আছে তাহার নাম অয়েল। এই জায়গা এতই কঠিন আজাবে পরিপূর্ণ যে, অন্যান্য দোযখীগণ প্রত্যেক দিন সত্তর বার আল্লাহ পাকের নিকট আরজ করবে, হে আল্লাহ্ তাবারুক তায়ালা! তুমি আমাদিগকে ঐ অয়েল দোযখ হইতে রক্ষা করিও।
যাহারা নামায পড়িতে আলস্য করে সময়মত নামায পড়েনা, মাঝে মাঝে পড়ে এইরূপ ব্যক্তিদের কেমন শাস্তি্ত হইতে পারে।
হাদীসে উল্লেখ আছে, প্রতি ওয়াক্ত নামায ছাড়িয়া দেয়ার জন্য আশি ছোকবা দোযখে থাকতে হবে। দুনিয়ার আশি বৎসর সমান এক ছোকবা হয়। তাহার আশি ছোকবা অর্থৎ ১৬০০ (এক হাজার ছয়শত) বৎসর এক ওয়াক্ত নামায কাযা করলে দোযখে থাকতে হবে। যাহারা মোটেই নামায পড়েনা এবং নামাযের প্রতি মিশ্বাসও রাখেনা তাদের অনন্তকাল দোযখে থাকতে হবে।
নবী করীম (সাল্লাহু আলাইহে ওয়া সাল্লাম) বলেছেন, মুসলমান এবং কাফেরের মধ্যে পাথক্য এই, মুসলমান নামায পড়ে আর কাফের নামায পড়ে না। কাজেই বেনামাযী কাফেরের মধ্যে গণ্য হয়ে যায়। যদি কেহ বলে কিসের নামায, নামায পড়িয়া কি হইবে, সাথে সাথে সে কাফের হইয়া যাইবে। অনেক লোক বলে আমরা গরীব মানুষ রুজী রোজগার করতে হয়। নামায পড়ার সময় কোথায়? তাহারা চিন্তা করেনা দুনিয়ার সুখ শান্তি ক্ষণস্থায়ী আর আখেরাতের শান্তি অনন্তকাল।
যাহারা অনন্তকালের সুখ শান্তি নষ্ট করে দুনিয়ায় দুদিনের শান্তির আশায় থাকে তাহাদের মত আহাম্মক আর নাই। রুজি রোজগার দেয়ার মালিক আল্লাহ পাক। তিনি যদি অনুগ্রহ করে রুজি না দেন তবে সারা জনম পরিশ্রম করে রুজি পাওয়া যাবে না। আর যদি আল্লাহ পাক দয়া করে দেন তবে মুহুর্তের মধ্যে তাহাকে সম্পদশালী করিয়া দিতে পারেন। কাজেই রুজির আসায় নামায পরিত্যাগ করা উচিৎ নয়।
অনেক মেয়ে লোক বলে, ছেলে-মেয়ে নিয়া সংসারের নানা কাজকর্ম করিয়া নামায পড়ার সময় থাকেনা। আবার বলে আমার নামায পড়ার মত কাপড় চোপর নাই। একখানা মাত্র কাপড় তাও আবার ঠিকমত পাক পবিত্র করতে পারিনা। নামায পড়ব কেমনে? এই সমস্ত বাজে অজুহাতের কোন মূল্য নাই আল্লাহ্ পাকের দরবারে।
যাহাদের নামায পড়ার আগ্রহ আছে তারা নানা বাধা বিপত্তির মধ্যেও নামায পড়তে সক্ষম হয়। আর যাহারা নামায পড়বেনা তাহাদের ওজর আপত্তির সীমা নাই। কিয়ামতের দিন আল্লাহ্ পাক যখন নিজে কাজীর আসনে বসবেন। তখন এই সমস্ত ওজর আপত্তি কোন কাজে আসবেনা।
যারা নামায পড়েনা তাদের জন্য আল্লাহ্ পাক পনেরটি আজাব নির্দিষ্ট করিয়া রাখিয়াছেন। পনেরটি আজাবের মধ্যে ছয়টি দুনিয়ায়, তিনটি মৃতু্য সময়, তিনটি কবরের মধ্যে, তিনটি হাশরের মধ্যে দেয়া হইবে।
দুনিয়াতে ছয়টি আযাব:
1. তাহার জীবনে কোনরূপ বরকত হইবেনা ।
2. আল্লাহ্ তার চেহারা হইতে নেক লোকের চিহ্ন উঠাইয়া লইবেন।
3. যে যাহা কিছু নেক কাজ করবে, তাহার ছওয়াব পাইবেনা।
4. তাহার দোয়া আল্লাহ্ পাকের নিকট কবুল হইবে না।
5. আল্লাহ্ পাকের সমস্ত ফেরেশতা তাহার উপর অসন্তুষ্ট থাকবে।
6. ইসলামের মূল্যবান নেয়ামত সমূহ হইতে বঞ্চিত করা হইবে।
মৃত্যুর সময় আজাব তিনটিঃ
1. অত্যন্ত দুর্দশাগ্রস্ত হইয়া মৃতু্যবরণ করিবে।
2. ক্ষুধার্ত অবস্থায় মৃতু্য বরন করিবে।
3. মৃত্যুকালে তাহার এত পিপাসা পাইবে যে, তাহার ইচ্ছা হইবে দুনিয়ার সমস্ত পানি পান করিয়া ফেলিতে।
কবরের মধ্যে তিনটি আজাব:
1. তাহার কবর এমন সংকীর্ণ হবে যে তাহার এক পাশের হাড় অপর পাশের হাড়ের সংগে মিলিত হইয়া চূর্ণবিচূর্ণ হইয়া যাইবে।
2. তাহার কবরে, দিনরাত্রি সবসময় আগুন জ্বালাইয়া রাখা হবে।
3. আল্লাহ্ তাহার কবরে একজন আজাবের ফেরেশ্তা নিযুক্ত করিবেন। তাহার হাতে লোহার মুগুর থাকবে। সে মৃত ব্যক্তিকে বলতে থাকবে যে, দুনিয়ায় কেন নামায পড় নাই। আজ তাহার ফল ভোগ কর। এই বলিয়া ফজর নামায না পড়ার জন্য ফজর হইতে জোহর পর্যন্ত, জোহর নামাযের জন্য জোহর থেকে আছর পর্যন্ত, আছরের নামাযের জন্য আছর থেকে মাগরিব পর্যন্ত, মাগরিবের নামাযের জন্য মাগরিব হইতে এশা পর্যন্ত এবং এশার নামাযের জন্য এশা হইতে ফজর পর্যন্ত লোহার মুগুর দ্বারা আঘাত করতে থাকবে।
প্রত্যেক বার আঘাতের সময় বজ্রপাতের মত শব্দ হইবে এবং শরীর চূর্ণবিচূর্ণ হইয়া পঞ্চাশ গজ মাটির নিচে চলিয়া যাইবে। সেই ফেরেশ্তা পুনরায় তাহাকে জীবিত করিয়া হাড় মাংস এক করিয়া আবার আঘাত করিতে থাকিবে। এই ভাবে কিয়ামত পর্যন্ত লোহার মুগুর দিয়া তাহাকে আঘাত করতে থাকবে।
হাশরের মাঠে তিনটি আজাব:
1. একজন ফেরেশতা তাকে পা উপরের দিকে এবং মাথা নিচের দিকে অবস্থায় হাশরের মাঠে লইয়া যাইবে।
2. আল্লাহ পাক তাহাকে অনুগ্রহের দৃষ্টিতে দেখবেন না।
3. সে চির কালের জন্য দোযখী হইয়া নিজের কৃতকর্মের ফল ভোগ করতে থাকবে।
নবী করিম (সাল্লাহু আলাইহে ওয়া সাল্লাম) বলেছেন, আমার উম্মতের মধ্যে আট শ্রেণীর লোকের উপর কিয়ামতের দিন আল্লাহ পাক অসন্তুষ্ট থাকবেন। তাহাদের মুখের আকৃতি অত্যন্ত কুশ্রী ও ভীষণাকার হইবে। হাশরের মাঠে প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তি তাহাদিগকে দেখিয়া ঘৃণা করিবে। এই কথা শুনার পরে সাহাবাগণ জিজ্ঞাসা করলেন, ইয়া রাসূলুল্লাহ! সে সমস্ত লোক কাহারা? নবী করীম (সাল্লাহু আলাইহে ওয়া সাল্লাম) বললেন
1. জ্বেনা-কার
2. অবি-চারক বাদশাহ্ বা হাকিম।
3. মাতা-পিতার অবাধ্য সন্তান।
4. সুদখোর
5. পর-নিন্দাকারী
6. অন্যায়কারী এবং অত্যাচারী
7. মিথ্যা সাক্ষীদাতা।
8. বে-নামাযী।
ইহাদের মধ্যে বে-নামাযীর শাস্তিই বেশী হইবে। বে-নামাযীকে আগুনের পোশাক পড়াইয়া শিকলে বাঁধিয়া আগুনের কোড়া মারতে থাকবে। বেহেশত তাহাকে বলতে থাকবে তুমি আমার দিকে অগ্রসর হইওনা। দোযখ তাহাকে বলবে আমি তোমার জন্যই অপেক্ষা করছি। তোমার দ্বারা আমার পেটের ক্ষুধা নিবারণ করব। এই বলিয়া দোযখ তাহার জিহ্বা বাড়াইয়া ভিতরে নিয়া যাইবে।
নবী করীম (সাল্লাহু আলাইহে ওয়া সাল্লাম) বলেছেন, জাহান্নাম দোযখের মধ্যে লমলম নামে একটি কুপ আছে। উহা অসংখ্য সাপ বিচ্ছুতে ভর্তি। প্রত্যেকটা সাপ একটি পাড়ের সমতুল্য এবং একটা বিচ্ছু হাতির সমতুল্য হইবে। সেই সমস্ত সাপ বিচ্ছু সব সময় বে-নামাযীকে কামড়াইতে থাকিবে, একবার কামরাইলে সত্তর বৎসর পর্যন্ত তাহার যন্ত্রনা থাকিবে এবং কাহারও মৃতু্য হইবে না।

Punishment for not praying
God has declared His Qur'an to be pure-
فَوَيْلُ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَوتِهِمْ سَا هُوْنَ
Pronunciation: fawailulillal musallillanallajinahum ansalatihim sahun.
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (R) has narrated that there is a huge hole in Hell called Hell and its name is Oil. This place is so full of hardships that other hellish people will pray to Allah Pak seventy times every day, O Allah Tabaruk Tayala! You save us from that oil hell.
Those who are lazy in praying and do not pray on time, how can such people be punished by praying from time to time.
It is mentioned in the hadith that in order to skip the prayer every time, one has to stay in hell for eighty hours. Eighty years of the world is equal to one chokba. If he prays eighty chokba, that is, once in 1800 (one thousand six hundred) years, he will be in hell. Those who do not pray at all and do not have faith in prayer will be in Hell forever.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: The difference between a Muslim and a disbeliever is that a Muslim prays and a disbeliever does not pray. Therefore, Benamazi is considered as a disbeliever. If someone says what is the prayer, what will happen after the prayer, he will immediately become a disbeliever. Many people say that we poor people have to earn a living. Where is the time to pray? They do not think that the happiness of this world is temporary and the peace of the Hereafter is eternal.
There is no one as foolish as those who destroy the happiness and peace of eternity and hope for two days of peace in the world. God is the owner of earning a living. If he does not please pay the wages, then the wages cannot be obtained by working hard all his life. And if Allah is gracious, He can make him rich in a moment. Therefore, the prayer should not be abandoned when Ruji comes.
Many girls say that they do not have time to pray for their children. Again, I do not have clothes to pray. I can't sanctify even a single piece of cloth properly. How to pray? All these bad excuses have no value in the court of God.
Those who are interested in praying are able to pray in the face of various obstacles. And there is no limit to the excuses of those who do not pray. On the Day of Resurrection, God Himself will sit on the seat of Qazi. Then all these excuses will not work.
For those who do not pray, Allah has prescribed fifteen holy punishments. Sixteen of the fifteen wonders will be given in the world, three in the time of death, three in the grave, three in the resurrection.
Six punishments in the world:
1. There will be no blessing in his life.
2. God will remove the mark of the righteous from his face.
3. He who does good deeds will not be rewarded.
4. His prayer will not be accepted by God.
5. All the holy angels of God will be displeased with him.
6. Valuable blessings of Islam will be deprived.
At the time of death, there are three wonders:
1. He will die in great distress.
2. Will starve to death.
3. At death he will be so thirsty that he will want to drink all the water in the world.
Three wonders in the grave:
1. His grave will be so narrow that the bones on one side of it will merge with the bones on the other side and be crushed.
2. In his grave, fire will always be kept burning day and night.
3. God will appoint an angel of torment in his grave. He will have an iron rod in his hand. He will continue to tell the dead person why there is no prayer in the world. Enjoy its fruits today. That is to say, for not performing the Fajr prayer from Fajr to Zuhr, for the Zuhr prayer from Zuhr to Asr, for the Asr prayer from Asr to Maghrib, for the Maghrib prayer from Maghrib to Esha and for the Esha prayer from Esha to Fajr will continue to strike with an iron club.
Every time you hit, there will be a sound like thunder and the body will be crushed and go fifty yards below the ground. That angel will resurrect him and continue to strike him again. In this way he will continue to hit her with an iron rod till the Day of Resurrection.
Three wonders on the Day of Judgment:
1. An angel will take him to the Day of Judgment with his feet up and his head down.
2. God Almighty will not look at him with grace.
3. He will go to hell forever and enjoy the fruits of his deeds.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, Allaah will be displeased with eight classes of people in my Ummah. The shape of their faces will be very ugly and horrible. Everyone will see them and hate them on the Day of Judgment. After hearing this, the Companions asked, O Messenger of Allah! Who are all those people? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
1. Zwena-kar
2. Abi-charak king or judge.
3. Disobedient children of parents.
4. The usurer
5. Post-slanderer
6. Unjust and oppressive
7. False witness.
8. Non-prayer.
The punishment for non-prayer will be more among them. The non-worshiper will be chained to the garment of fire and will continue to whip the fire. Heaven will tell him not to approach me. Hell will tell him I am waiting for you. I will satisfy my hunger with you. Saying this, Hell will extend its tongue and take him inside.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: There is a well in Hell called Lamlam. It is infested with innumerable snakes. Each snake will be the equivalent of a shore and the equivalent of a scorpion elephant. All those snakes and scorpions will always bite the non-prayer, once in Kamrail he will be in pain for seventy years and no one will die.
